The Monterey Culinary Arts Foundation exists to support culinary education by providing financial aid to students pursuing culinary careers, agricultural education, healthy eating programs for children and parents, safety and sanitation for restaurants and the hospitality industry, and a continuing education for chefs.  The Economic Growth of the Tri County area can directly benefit from the programs and education provided by the Monterey Culinary Arts Foundation. 

Our Mission is to generate and distribute funding for financial aid, to qualified culinary students and to promote the education, advancement, and betterment of the culinary, food, and wine industry.



Our fund raising campaign targets restaurants, hotels, and food suppliers who will directly benefit when highly trained Culinary School graduates join the workforce. Local culinary establishments need both a skilled job pool and continuing education opportunities for employees, and therefore are an important donor group for the Foundation.

  • The Culinary Center of Monterey Culinary Arts School
    Our quality 12-month, 1500-hour comprehensive program prepares the student to begin an exciting career in the culinary field. The Culinary Center's accelerated curriculum will teach students not only how to get jobs, but how to keep them and be successful in a ever changing and challenging and exciting career.

  • It is our mission to provide affordable culinary training that is task driven and realistic about the culinary industry today. An industry where time is money and your reputation precedes you. Those who can perform will succeed. Our curriculum will teach students not only how to get jobs, but how to keep them and to be successful at them. We are dedicated to becoming a quality leader in Culinary Training, to be well positioned in the industry as a competent educational source, and to be respected and dedicated to the culinary industry as a whole for versatile training in the hospitality industry.

  • The Culinary Center of Monterey was developed by Mary Pagan, a Certified Executive Chef, to share her love of the Culinary arts with others.
